[CS1] Importing Google Images from Links
Google drive is tricky when trying to use it to host images, as it is not made to host those images elsewhere. There are a few steps that need to be taken, to use it as an image host.
First, you will need this URL: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id= , make sure to copy this somewhere, so you can use it for each image.
While in Google Drive, double click the image you would like to use, this will open it in the preview mode.
In the URL bar of your browser, you will see a URL that says something like drive.google.com/file/d/ Then a bunch of numbers and letters /view.
Copy that string of numbers and letters and place it at the end of the URL provided above. The string of numbers and letters will be unique for each image.
Paste the string of numbers and letters at the end of the URL provided above. This is the new link you will use in your Component Studio Dataset.
Here is an example of the finished URL - https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=0Bz8q-poaDP1Jc0cySldzN2ZTdjQ
