[CS1] Custom Icons Inline With Text

You can use the  alternate fonts feature to add your own icons inline in your text. Watch this video to see how.

This tutorial shows off a site called  Glyphter for making custom fonts from SVG files, and it uses icons from Game-Icons.net. SVG means Scalable Vector Graphics. They can be designed via a vector based image editing program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.
