Datasets

Datasets are basically spreadsheets that allow you to edit data for your game. Each row in the dataset essentially represents 1 card, token, chit, or board.

Dataset Toolbar

From left to right here is what the buttons in the toolbar can do for you.

  • Back - Takes you back to your game.
  • Full screen - Removes all the browser navigation so you can maximize screen real estate
  • Enumerations - A powerful feature that lets you turn 1 row into many.
  • System Status - It will be a green dot when the system is not processing. It will turn into other icons when it is working. You can mouse over it to see what's happening. And if you click on it, it will recalculate everything.
  • Design - Will link you to the design or designs that are using this dataset.
  • Inputs - Will allow you to manage your other resources such as styles, images, dataset variables, and game variables.
  • Import - Will let you import and export data from the dataset.
  • Cells - Will allow you to create columns and rows. Empty your dataset. And find and replace data in your cells.
  • Help - Will link you to this help system.
